Päävalmentaja Milene Ramosin kommentit kuluneesta pre-seasonista.
“First of all, pre-season is a key moment in our preparation. The goal is to reach our best physical and tactical level while ensuring everyone understands the principles we want to translate into the team. Pre-season matches are crucial for reinforcing these ideas, and we’ve been facing strong opponents, which helps us push our limits and improve. It has been an intense period, with players adapting well and working hard. The team is making progress every day. There’s still work to do, but the squad is coming together well – new players are integrating, and team chemistry is developing.
We’re not yet where we want to be, but we’re moving in the right direction, step by step. The commitment and dedication from the squad are exactly what we need to get there. We have a significant responsibility in women’s football to continue growing the game, and here, the standards are set high. As long as we maintain our core principles, the direction we want to take won’t change. But we’ve come a long way in a short time and we must keep laying the foundations now. The sooner we do this, the better prepared we’ll be for the future. It’s all about moving forward together, working as one. I want to ensure that every player feels supported in this journey, but also prepared to challenge and be challenged. That’s part of elite sport, and while it can be tough, it’s essential for success.”
